      <description><![CDATA[<p>Reports To: Quality Assurance Coordinator</p><p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p><p>Your position is responsible for providing professional and dependable service and to develop our Team’s capability to deliver JEC’s key objectives to all our customers and suppliers. A commitment to JEC’s philosophy of Safety, Morale, Quality, Cost, Delivery &amp; Environment is a requirement.</p><p>This role will be measured against specific targets as noted in the departmental business plan.</p><p><br></p><p>SUMMARY</p><p>To ensure customer and company manufacturing concerns meet daily quality expectations.</p><p><br></p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>•Maintain open communication with all departments in regards to quality assurance</p><p>•Investigate all manufacturing errors and make recommendations for corrective action to be taken</p><p>•Assist with the internal containment and repair of defective parts</p><p>•Update current documents, SOP's and create new SOP's as new parts are introduced</p><p>•Provide training to associates as necessary</p><p>•Audit manufacturing processes each month within each department</p><p>•Measuring final products with various measurement tools (Datamyte data collector, measurement probes and taper gauge)</p><p>•Assisting New Model Department with measurement completion, participate in trial activities including testing of equipment (Cpk completion, KGZ Activity)</p><p>•Complete and accurate recording of results; data is downloaded into database</p><p>•Reporting non-conformances to the quality and production coordinators or managers at daily Production meeting</p><p>•Take appropriate actions to ensure any nonconformity found is corrected immediately including jig adjustments and validations as needed</p><p>Accurate Record Keeping including weekly data filing (electronic)</p><p>•Ability to read and interpret technical part drawings and dimensions</p><p>•Communicate with all departments of current QA issues</p><p>•Oversee temporary associates as required</p><p>•Manage and maintain workflow in the QA Hold Area</p><p>•Other duties may be assigned</p><p><br></p><p>LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Directly oversees associates in the Quality Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
